Our client is a Tampa, Florida-based law firm with a national practice. We are seeking to hire an attorney for the Corporate/M&A practice who can serve in first and second chair roles representing private equity firms and strategic buyers and sellers. Candidates must have 6-15 years of experience in sophisticated mergers and acquisitions transactions, and extensive familiarity with M&A deal terms, representations and warranties insurance, and deal process. Transportable business is not required. A shareholder role is available for a candidate with sufficient experience and commitment level. Candidates from major money-center markets encouraged.

The role gives immediate responsibility for managing or providing key support to firm client relationships and for leading new business development efforts. Florida Bar certification preferred, but not required to start.
The position can pay qualified individuals between $155-250K, plus exception benefits.
