Job Description

Our Midwestern-based client is looking for an associate with at least 5 years of demonstrated and focused trusts and estates experience to join their exceptional Trusts & Estates group in the Naples office.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of five years of experience in estate planning document drafting as well as drafting, preparing, and reviewing estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and trust income tax returns is preferred
• An LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred, but the lack of an LL.M. can be substituted with the right depth of experience.  Florida Bar admission is required (no exception)
• A desire to work as part of a team of attorneys and paralegals in estate planning, tax planning, and probate and trust administration matters
• Excellent legal research (including tax research) and writing skills
• Demonstrated experience working with complex, high-net worth clients, and a commitment to client service
• Strong technical skills in estate and trust planning, including document drafting
• High level of initiative and attention to detail

Compensation can range from $120-145K+, and this a remote position [but you must live in Florida and have passed FL Bar].
