Remote Fiduciary Accountant


Job Description

Our Midwestern-based client is looking for a fiduciary accountant with 2-10 years of demonstrated and focused trusts and estates experience in the Naples office.  The person could come from another law firm, a CPA firm or the Trust Department of a Bank.  THE POSITION HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS REMOTE, and the person will likely only have to travel to Naples 1-2x / year. 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience in trust and estate accounting, for estate tax returns, gift tax returns and trust income tax returns is preferred.  A CPA is a plus, but not required.
  • A desire to work as part of a team of attorneys and paralegals in estate planning, tax planning, and probate and trust administration matters
  • Excellent legal research (including tax research) and writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex, high-net worth clients, and a commitment to client service
  • Strong technical skills in estate and trust accounting, specifically working on IRS forms 706, 709 and 1041
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail

Compensation can range from $60-85K+.
